Split cowhide with a fold-over flap, a turn lock, a top handle and a detachable strap.

Details

The front falls into soft folds beneath a flat, structured flap. Hidden press studs sit at both sides: snapped closed, the bag holds a defined shape; released, the sides open out and it slouches. Same bag, two moods, and it takes a second to change.

Two turn locks in brushed silver, one on the outer flap and one on the panel beneath it. The top handle sits on the shoulder; clip on the 120 cm strap and it crosses the body. Inside there are two separate compartments and a concealed zip pocket, so a bag this wide does not become one open space. A4 goes in upright, which is the point of carrying something this size.

It weighs just over a kilogram empty. That is more than most bags of this shape, and it is worth knowing before you fill it.

Black disappears into everything you already own. The forest green is the one people will ask about, and it is worth seeing in daylight before you decide.

Measured flat by hand, so allow up to 2 cm either way.

Care

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. No oil, no conditioner, no polish: the finish on this leather is sealed, so they sit on the surface rather than feeding it.

Do not overfill it. The folds are part of the shape, and a bag stuffed past it will crease where you would rather it did not.
