Suede and Nubuck Bags
Suede and nubuck are both cowhide with the surface raised into a nap. The difference is which side of the hide it comes from.
Nubuck is the outer grain, sanded fine. It is the tougher of the two, and it catches light softly rather than shining. That is Harbour, with a flap pocket on each outside face and a zip across the top.
Suede is the inner split, softer and deeper in colour. That is Hearth, with smooth leather running along the base and the folded corners, where a bag takes the most wear.
Both want a suede brush rather than polish, and both want to stay dry. In return, they hold colour more deeply than grain leather does.
