Hearth Suede Shoulder Bag

Against shirt dresses and silk camisoles, Hearth's curve and its hanging leather and metal detail come into focus. Suede warms rather than shines, and it holds colour more deeply than grain leather does. The wine purple is worth seeing in daylight before you decide.

Smooth leather runs along the base and the folded corners, where a bag takes the most wear. It is the part nobody photographs and the part that decides how long a suede bag lasts.

The short handle sits on the shoulder. Clip on the 100 cm strap and it drops to the hip for wearing across the body. Inside there is a divider, a slip pocket and a concealed zip pocket, so the bag does not become one flat space.

Measured flat by hand, so allow up to 3 cm either way.

Keep it dry. Brush the nap with a suede brush and treat it with a suede protector before you first wear it. No polish, no water based cleaner.

If it gets wet, let it dry away from direct heat, then brush the nap back up once it has.
