A wide belt that ties instead of buckling. The band sits at the waist, a thin strap threads through a slot in it and knots at the front, with the ends left long.

Details
No holes and no buckle, which means there is no size to get wrong and nothing to work loose. At 223 cm it goes twice around most waists and still leaves enough to tie. High over a dress, or low and loose over a coat.
The face is top grain cowhide, the outer layer of the hide and the part that carries the grain. It is bonded to a microfibre backing. We would rather write that here than let you find it by turning the belt over, and it is deliberate: a 6 cm band cut from one thick hide stands away from the body and curls along the edge. The two layers are what keep it flat.
Worn over Hearth or Drift it gathers a soft bag's slouch into a waist. Over Nest or Carry it does the opposite and squares the line off.

Measured flat by hand, so allow up to 3 cm either way.
Care
Wipe with a dry cloth. A leather conditioner twice a year keeps the grain from drying where the knot sits.
Untie it when you take it off rather than pulling it over your head. A belt that lives permanently knotted keeps the crease.
